Today I want to tell a story of what it’s like to meet your spirit guides for the first time. The first time I met one of my spirit guides was in 1997 when I was on a shamanic journey.
It was a mind-expanding experience. I had known I had spirit guides in my life but to have the experience of directly interacting with a spirit guide was amazing.
It turned out to be a life guide of mine. A life guide is a guide that will be with you from birth to death. We have many different types of spirit guides that are with us for certain periods of our lives and help us with certain areas of our lives. Some of them are with us for life.
The first guide that I met was a life guide. Her name was Eve. She was caring and nurturing. And, she was exactly what I needed at the time. I met her in a place in what we call the upper world in shamanic terms. I still visit her and other guides there now, 22 years later.
My spirit guides have become personal benefactors, friends, and confidants. They’ve gotten me through some of the toughest times in my life. They were with me when I hit a patch of ice in 2007 and my SUV rolled down a hill. I ended up climbing out of the window unscathed. They have also been with me through my triumphs and challenges.
That level of support from my Spirit Guides behind me has been integral to my success not only in my career but in my personal life as well. This is what I want for you! I want you do know what it’s like to meet your spirit guides for the first time. I want you to feel that supported all of the time so you, too, can reach your goals. This is why I teach my Meet Your Guides class and have been teaching it for 19 years. Because I know firsthand the empowerment and the comfort that comes from direct communication with your own spirit guides.
